Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state fired three commissioners from his cabinet yesterday. The commissioners are Commissioner for Tourism, Mr Folorunsho Folarin-Coker; Finance, Dr. Mustapha Akinkunmiand Transport, Dr.Ekundayo Mobereola.
This was announced in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr.Tunji Bello. The Special Adviser, Arts and Culture will now take over as the Acting Commissioner for Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
The Special Adviser on Transportation will take over as Acting Commissioner for Transportation, while the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance will take over as the Acting Commissioner for Finance, pending the appointment of new Commissioners in the respective ministries. The governor thanked the former Commissioners for their service.
